'The Elder Scrolls 6' News & Rumors: Game Gets 2019 Release Date, VR Compatibility?
New speculations on the release date of Bethesda Softwork's "The Elder Scrolls 6" have surfaced and as per reports, the game is not coming out next year and it is set to be Virtual Reality (VR) compatible.
"The Elder Scrolls 6" is not expected to be released in 2017 and 2018, as confirmed by Bethesda Vice President Pete Hines. In his interview with Game Star, Hines said that not at the next Gamescom and not the one after that, there were at least two big games from Bethesda Games Studios before they got around to "The Elder Scrolls 6."
Hines also said that if one looked at their games, they did things that no other game did. He added that there were very very, very few that allowed such large world and exploration, along with a really high level interactivity.
"What new feature can we add, what new things can we offer without sacrificing the things that make a game like our, cool," Hines said.
"The Elder Scrolls 6" is also rumored to be playable with integration of Virtual Reality or VR technology. According to Neurogadget, the game is speculated to be a VR exclusive, since Bethesda;s announcement of the VR support for its "Fallout 4." As per the publication, it is not new if the company pushes this through as several developers have integrated their games with the VR technology.
As per Gaming Bolt, it is logical for Bethesda to link "The Elder Scrolls 6" with VR technology, as VR will have gained traction by the time the game is out. In addition, releasing the game as VR compatible would allow more sales for the company, as per the publication.
Overall, players can assume "The Elder Scrolls 6" to be released in 2019.
