The '19 Kids and Counting' star Jill Duggar has made several appearances in her glowing and pregnant form to the excitement of all of her fans. But over the last few months, Jill and husband Derick Dillard have been remarkably silent- absent from social media and from any other kind of appearances.

When Jill's husband shared a new photo with a very pregnant Jill on the beach, it was pretty obvious why the couple was so quiet. Evidently, the expecting couple, Jill and Derick Dillard, have taken their baby on his first mission trip.

According to Duggar's family blog, the couple did the mission trip in El Salvador with quite a few other family members. Last summer, Jessa Duggar and her husband, Ben Seewald did a mission trip together with the Duggars, but because Jill and Derick had just gotten married, they were unable to participate.

Now, despite Jill's beautiful baby bump, the couple was determined to join the family for the annual Christmas mission trip. On the way back, Derrick thanked God in an Instagram post, "Praise God for the work He is doing in El Salvador. #babydillysfirstmissiontrip" Derrick captioned in the picture of the two on the beach.

A couple days ago, the Duggar family released their official Christmas card which announced, "Happy Birthday to Jesus!" The Christmas card included a very pregnant Jill and her husband, Derek, in the ever-growing Duggar clan.

When baby Dilly is born, he will be one of over 20 Duggar family members. "He is moving and kicking now," Jill told People, "It's crazy to realize I have this wonderful baby boy inside me."
