When Disney announced its plan to create a reboot of the Mouse House's Gen Y cartoon "Duck Tales," many were skeptical. However, it looks like everything has changed when Disney revealed the voice cast for the animated comedy.

This week, Disney unveiled the main voice cast of the upcoming film via a video of them all singing the theme song of "Duck Tales." This video revealed that "Doctor Who," "Community" and "Saturday Night Live" stars would be voicing the new adventures of "Duck Tales" characters Scrooge McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie and the rest of the gang. The cast is full of comedians from some of the most popular shows on television today.

The voice cast includes David Tennant of "Doctor Who" as Scrooge McDuck, Danny Pudi of "Community" as Huey, Ben Schwartz of "Parks and Recreation" as Dewey, Bobby Moynihan of "Saturday Night Live" as Louie, Beck Bennett of "Saturday Night Live" as Launchpad McQuack, Toks Olagundoye of "Castle" as Mrs. Beakley, and Kate Micucci of "Garfunkel and Oates" as Webby Vanderquack.

Aside from them, other Duckburg denizens are also set to appear in "Duck Tales," including Ur-water fowl Donald Duck, Duckworth, Gizmoduck. They will be joined by the villains Magica De Spell and the Beagle Boys.

Produced by Disney Television Animation, "Duck Tales" is scheduled to premiere in 2017 on Disney XD. The original series ran from 1987 to 1990 and featured the adventures of the rich McDuck as he toured his nephews around the world.
