In line with Square Enix's "Dragon Quest 11," reports say that the title is set to land on the Nintendo NX.

"Dragon Quest" creator Yuji Horii confirmed that the title is set to be one of the games that will run on the upcoming Nintendo NX. In an interview with Nintendo Dream, as translated by Gematsu, Horii was asked by Masahiro Sakurai if the title was coming out on three platforms: PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo NX.

Horii said Sakurai was right, adding that the use of hardware that is different for each system that it was quite a challenge. The game developer also mentioned that there were lot of difficulties because of the game arriving on three platforms, in addition to each one having a different look to it.

In the interview, Horii was also poised to confirm that they would not change the release date of the title and release the game separately.
