'Dragon Ball Z' Characters, Gohan and Krillin Appear in Ford Advertisement
Ford recently released their recent Ford Focus advertisement. While some car companies turn to celebrities and professional athletes to endorse their product, Ford pulled off a creative way by turning to Krillin and Gohan of the Japanese anime, "Dragon Ball Z."
The scene used in the clip may have come from the "Namek Saga" according to The News Hub (via Christian Post).
As weird as it may sound, the 49-second clip actually makes sense. The story of the clip is about Krillin and Gohan using their three wishes after collecting the dragon balls. They wanted to use their three wishes on three cars with different special features.
Krillin and Gohan first wished for a car with an audio system from Sony; second, he wishes for another car but this time with a rear view camera to make backing up easier; third, a car with an EPA estimated 42 highway miles per gallon.
It turns out that they have only used one wish since the complete package of the 2016 Ford Focus will be providing just that. The add implies that the new Focus is the most convenient and cool car there is as of today.
The video ends with a animated image of the car, plus message from Ford saying: "Conserve your wishes."
The timing of the release was perfect as well because people could relate to "wishes" during this Christmas season. It would definitely be a cool wish to make and a good present to give yourself or your loved ones this Christmas.
