'Dragon Ball Xenoverse' Release Date, Gameplay Clip: Bandai Namco Games Teaser Video & Character List
Bandai Namco Games recently released a 30-second video clip of 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse' to tease gamers who have been waiting anxiously for the highly-anticipated video game, which is scheduled for release in 2015.
The video clip shows all the new features and action that they will receive next year in beautiful clean graphics. Beyond that, the clip also presents the entire list of characters too.
Siliconera says that the villains from the earlier game 'Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods', such as Beerus and Whis, will be also been seen in the upcoming game, especially in the Time Patrol Quest story mode. Siliconera also says that the main antagonists in the game are named Towa and Mira.
According to a report by the Youth Health Mag, the first copies of the game will be released in Japan on Feb. 5 next year and they will come with a download code that will activate the main character of Akira Toriyama's manga, Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, as a playable character.
In addition, the game will also have a download code for a customizable Master Roshi, in addition to a "Trunks: Xeno" battle card for 'Dragon Ball Heroes' game. This will be topped with a serial code which will allow gamers to use "Trunks: Xeno" in the smartphone version of the 'Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle' game.
Moving forward Bandai Namco Games posted a note in the official Facebook page for 'Dragon Ball Xenoverse' saying that the game's roster includes 126 playable characters, including Goku, Trunks, Gohan and all their forms.
The other characters include Piccolo, Krillin, Tien Shinhan and Yamcha. In addition, Vegeta, which has a DLC per-order exclusive, will also be there.
According to Siliconera, players will confront Great Ape Vegeta at some point in the game.
The video game will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 and it will first be available to players in Japan on Feb. 5, 2015. Subsequently, the game will be available in North America on Feb. 13 and in Europe on Feb. 17.
'Dragon Ball Xenoverse' will also be released on PC, and can be played as per the requirements specified by Bandai Namco Games.
