'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' Release Date: Game To Get October Launch?
New details on Bandai Namco's "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" have surfaced. In addition, the game is set to feature iconic "Dragon Ball" soundtracks.
According to IGN, Bandai's "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is set to be released on Oct. 25 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and on Oct. 28 for Microsoft Windows via Steam. As per the publication, the studio also revealed that it is working hand in hand with Grammy nominee musician DJ Steve Aoki.
It is revealed that Aoki has made a remix version of the iconic "Dragon Ball Z" soundtracks for the game. They are "Cha-La Head-Cha-La" and "We Gotta Power," among others.
In a statement in a press release, as cited by iDigital Times, Aoki said that having grown up with "Dragon Ball," he had jumped at the chance to contribute his talents and leave his personal impact on the series.
With regard the title's story line, it is unveiled that gamers are set to come across with the primary villains, who are bound to find and recruit other iconic "Dragon Ball" villains to become parts of their nasty lot. As per reports, the villains want to change the events in the past, such as changing battle courses and leading those to their advantage.
The upcoming "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is also set to feature some missions, such as penetrating Frieza's crew, in addition to exploring the map towns through riding vehicles and flying. In addition, fans are set to see the main character transform to Super Saiyan 3 and do Kamehameha.
Overall, Bandai Namco's "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is set to be initially released on Oct. 25.
