'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' News: Beta, Special Editions, Demo Gameplay Leaked
Along with pre-order bonuses and special editions like the collector's edition for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," a beta and new demo gameplay have also been revealed.
A Bandai Namco representative from Japan has unveiled an upcoming open beta for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," Saiyan Island has learned. According to the website, the said open beta is in line with the upcoming release of the game title in October. It is assumed that many fans will be able to play the title's demo version, though exact details on its release are yet to be revealed.
As per the publication, the open beta aims to let the public test play the game for the developers to find issues and secure feedback, which are necessary for improvements to the game before its official release.
Bandai has also released a demo gameplay for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." In the clip, it is revealed that players can choose their characters among Lord Slug, Goku, Turles, Future Trunks, Super Saiyan Gogeta, Super Jananba, and GT Goku. In addition, players can see the character's appearance as well as stats on the screen.
Players can also choose their preferred battle arena. In the battle, the game features enhanced land, aerial, and underwater visual effects as compared to its predecessors; hence, it reflects a more realistic gaming experience.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is also set to have pre-order bonuses and special editions in North America and Europe, according to Gematsu. The website reports that these are included at Japan's Expo this year. The pre-order bonus is inclusive of a playable character from "Dragon Ball Super" and the Tao Pai Pai Stick Vehicle.
