'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' News: Title Plot Related To ‘Dragon Ball Super’?
In line with Bandai Namco Entertainment's "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," it is revealed that the upcoming title's plotline is somehow linked to "Dragon Ball Super."
The recent events featuring Goku Black in "Dragon Ball Super" may have opened a chance that the story may be related with Banda's forthcoming title, according to Forbes. As per the publication, Goku Black's time ring is set to let the character time travel, which means he could go back to the past or move to the future.
The theory is also connected to Future Trunks, who is now back in the past, and this led some fans to believe that the Trunks in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" is actually the one who is also part of the new Time Patrol. While the ring could be the key to time traveling, it is further revealed that the timeline can be manipulated without it, just like the case of Towa and Mira.
In the new "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" trailer, it is seen that evil Janemba and Broly have odd insignia on their heads and those resemble Goku Black's time ring. Hence, the aforementioned details strengthen the likelihood that "Dragon Ball Super" and "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" share the same events.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is set to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows on Oct. 25 in the United States and Oct. 28 in Europe. On the other hand, "Dragon Ball Super" is currently aired in Japan, with the Western release yet to be announced.
