Zamasu might have an intimate connection with Goku Black unveiled in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 57.

The previous episode showed Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks going to the future. Upon learning that Mai was not dead but only missing, Future Trunks decided to set out on a different mission.

In the upcoming episode titled "The Birth of the Invisible God, Zamasu," fans can expect the series to focus more on Black Goku and Zamasu and will largely tackle the history of Zamasu.

Some fans speculate that Zamasu and Goku Black are one and the same, but there are also those who do not agree that the two entities are connected.

In the previous episodes, Zamasu did not show whether he was an ally or foe, although his creepy aura tells viewers that he is purely evil. In episode 57, fans will know how Zamasu acquired his power and how he was able to turn into an immortal God.

With Goku, Vegeta and future Trunks in the future, Goku is expected to have a brawl with Goku Black. According to the plot of episode 57, Goku and Black will fight to the death of Goku, which leads to his becoming a Super Saiyan Blue. On the other hand, Goku Black will transform into Super Saiyan Rose. Whether or not Goku will be able to take down Goku Black remains to be seen.

The new episode will also reveal the connection between the two entities.
