Episode 53 of "Dragon Ball Super" caused a stir among fans, as some claimed that the episode may have already revealed the true identity of Goku. In the upcoming episode, fans will get to see if they were right, and if Goku will actually live to fight again.

Titled "Reveal Black's Real Identity! Off to the Kaioshin Realm of Universe 10," episode 53 aired on July 31 and actually revealed a great deal about the real identity of Goku. Prior to the episode, some fans speculated that Goku Black was actually Goten, while some theorized that he was God King Zamasu. It can be recalled that God King Zamasu was the one who stole the body of Son Goku and was once suspected of being an evil Kai.

In the episode, Goku revealed how strong he was, leading Zamasu and Gowasu into thinking that he has already matched the strength of the Gods/ Kai.

Meanwhile, the preview trailer for episode 54 reveals some hints as to what to expect in the upcoming episode.

The video clip opens with Vegeta in Super Saiyan Blue, and it looks like he is already geared up to train his son Trunks. The preview also shows Gowasu and Zamasu taking a look at the Time Rings in Universe 10. Also, Vegeta has regained his strength and does not want his son to look feeble as he comes face to face with Black Goku, so he finds a way to bolster his strength and condition him for the fight.

Fans will have to wait until August 7 to know what happens in episode 54 of "Dragon Ball Super."
