'Dragon Age: Inquisition' News: EA Games Offers Free Trial for 'Dragon Age: Inquisition'

EA Games is offering a trial for one of the best games in 2014, 'Dragon Age: Inquisition'. Alongside the Xbox One EA Access deal, the company will give players using PCs six hours in which to get a look at 'Dragon Age: Inquisition' for themselves.

The only thing players will need to take advantage of this offer is an Origin account.

The trial will cover the single player campaign, so those who are interested in multiplayer will have to buy the games.

The game follows 'Dragon Age: Origins' and 'Dragon Age II', and 'Inquisition' is completely different compared to both of them.

It still uses some of the story and combat from previous versions, but the execution of these ideas are different to anything previously done in the series.

The world of the game is large, and has a freeform structure, which means that every accomplishment links to a larger goal.

Players can pursue any thread that interests them in exchange for unlocking new areas, earning upgrades such as XP boosts and increased inventory space, and even more.

The gameplay loop makes it easy for players to get distracted, but distractions are rewarding.

Critics have also commended the game's ability to handle character progression.

There is a balance of both passive and active abilities, which will keep players looking towards their next chance to spend a skill point.

The crafting system allows for players to create, customize and improve their gear as well, and there is also opportunity for repetitive item farming.

Some negative criticisms touched on the fact that there is no storage chest, and the lack of multiple weapon sets.
