‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ New Patch December 2014 News: Upcoming Update Will Not Fix Party Banter Bug
Following reports of sporadically glitchy party banter in 'Dragon Age: Inquisition', BioWare is now investigating the issue, although users may have to wait a bit before a patch is released.
Players across the world have expressed their concern on Bioware forums and on Reddit that they are unable to hear party chatter and other conversations. Evidently, players usually hear party members casually speak as they go about wandering the world.
According to Kotaku, players reported that when they explore the world, the usual conversations they hear in the background are missing, as well as the background music that is normally heard when a player traverses the game's terrain.
In response, Bioware's QA analyst Allan Schumacher requested that players, who were experiencing the problem, send him a certain file so that he and his team could look into it.
However, 'Dragon Age: Inquisition' executive producer Mark Darrah told his Twitter followers that they will be releasing a patch for the game soon, although it is not expected to resolve the issue of the party banter bug.
"This will not be fixed in the FIRST patch, however, as we do not have a reliable repro or a fix," Darrah tweeted, "Note that it is possible to consume all of the banter available to a follower given your place in the story. Still investigating."
'Dragon Age: Inquisition' is the newest game released by Bioware and EA, it is also the third installment in the 'Dragon Age' franchise.
During Cyber Monday on December 1, 'DA: Inquisition' was a big hit after its price went down from $60 to $45.
After the game was released, it received rave reviews for its storyline and the game's visuals. Heavy even projected that the game has the possibility of being hailed as the Game of the Year.
'Dragon Age: Inquisition' is now available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, as well as last-gen consoles.
