'Dragon Age: Inquisition' December 9 New Patch Notes: BioWare Posts Bug Fixes in Latest Update

Recently, reports have been emerging on the Internet about some of the bugs and glitches found in BioWare's recently released 'Dragon Age: Inquisition'. However, the developers have heard the pleas of the gamers and are launching a new patch to address these issues on December 9, 2014.

Stepping back, some of the major problems and issues that gamers had were discussed in threads on Reddit. Sticking out like a sore thumb, a lot of players had problems with party banter, which would take place as they progressed through the game.

According to Kotaku, players reported that when they explore the world, the usual conversations they hear in the background are missing, as well as the background music that is normally heard when a player traverses the game's terrain.

However, 'Dragon Age: Inquisition' executive producer Mark Darrah told his Twitter followers that they will be releasing a patch for the game soon, although it is not expected to resolve the issue of the party banter bug.

Stepping forward, patch day has finally come and, lo and behold, the full set of patch notes does not mention anything about fixed party banter or dialogue.

Within the released patch notes, some of the changes and fixes were platform specific, and some were only for singleplayer or multiplayer modes.

Some of the changes to the game were very minor, and again platform specific. For the PC version of the game, one small change was: "Fixed mouse cursor flashing while targeting AOEs"

However, there's other fixes to specific platforms that are definitely more serious than a simple flashing cursor. One of the changes reads, "[360] Fixed Crash when selecting storage device when select storage device warning is present."

Evidently, there's still some changes that need to be made to the game in order for all or most of the bugs to be removed from the game. Fortunately, gamers are dealing with game developers who care about their player base and truly strive to provide a quality gaming experience for all their loyal players.
