'Dota 2' Hero News: Valve’s MOBA Game To Add Two Heroes [TRAILER]
Valve's "Defense of the Ancients (Dota) 2" is set to have two new heroes - Monkey King and Underlord.
According to PC Gamer, Monkey King is set to join "Dota 2" and steer the direction of Valve title's total gaming experience. As per the reveal, the hero is a martial artist and master of illusion, as evidence by being able to disguise as a tree. While his full abilities and role in the game are yet to be revealed, it is assumed that Monkey King is a pivotal character in the title when he arrives in the fall.
Meanwhile, Underlord is revealed as a caster, who is capable of trapping opposing heroes in a pit. He is also able to inflict massive damage on the enemies over time, as well as absorb their attack power after being killed.
Underlord also knows teleportation, which lets him move from one place to another and he can take with him a team of hero to any part of the map. As per PC Gamer, such ability would be highly utilized in the rotation-heavy metagame this year. Valve announced the news at the International 2016 All Star match, which is a fun contest between randomly chosen players..
"Dota 2" is Valve's free multiplayer online battle area or MOBA video game and sequel to "Dota." Two teams play a match, with each player controlling a character or a hero with unique powers and combat skills set.
