'Doom' Latest News: Unto The Evil DLC Is Unleashed Unto Players
The new "DOOM" Unto the Evil DLC is now available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC. The DLC was first unveiled during this summer's Electronic Entertainment Expo. It created a hype that got gamers even more excited to play the game.
According to Christian Daily, the DLC offers three new maps for multiplayer modes. These maps are named Offering, Ritual and Cataclysm. Harvester will also be introduced in the video game as a new player-controlled enemy. Along with that are new taunts, hack modules, designs, armor sets, and other customization features.
Also, because of a new feature called "Party Play," a lot of players can be given access to play the video game as long as one of them has bought a copy of it.
Bethesda wrote in the Steam Community that if a certain gamer has purchased a copy of the premium DLC pack, anyone in the gamer's party can play whichever map from the DLC he or she wishes as long as they're playing together with the one who purchased the DLC. This is also a great way for other players to try the game out before deciding to grab a copy themselves.
The "DOOM" Unto the Evil DLC may be purchased through the game's Season Pass. It can also be purchased separately. The DLC is priced at $14.99 a pop. The DLC currently runs a special offer as the game offers double XP as part of the DLC's celebration. The special offer will end Aug. 8th
"DOOM" is a terrifying first-person shooter sci-fi video game developed by ID Software, and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game is available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
