LA Clippers Owner Donald Sterling faced another trial in the public eye this week as the death of his son, Scott Sterling, resurfaced in the media. The younger Sterling died last year at the age of 31.  However, according to a report out this week in the NY Daily News a number of Scott's childhood friends are alleging that the Chicago billionaire was one of the core reasons behind his son's demise. But despite the wild reports this week, Sterling's estranged wife, Shelly, contradicts the claims by saying that her son died a year ago due to Type 1 diabetes.

Phillip Scheid and Cheryl Bogart, who have known the Sterlings for 30 years, alleged that the $1.9 billion LA Clippers Owner was an "exhibitionist, a racist bully, and a child abuser." The siblings further claimed that the 80-year-old Sterling physically and emotionally abused his son.

"Donald was whipping him and beating him," said Scheid. "He'd come over with slashes on his back, my mom would cry and we'd hide him in the closet if his father came looking for him," Scheid claimed.

He added, "One time, Donald came banging on the door and pulled him out by his hair and dragged him into the car."

V. Stiviano Speaks Up on Relationship with Sterling

Meanwhile in other Sterling news, V. Stiviano has spoken to the media detailing her relationship with Sterling and giving information on his current state regarding the recent racism revelations. She said that the old Sterling is "confused, tormented, and emotionally-tormented" by the current dilemmas he is facing.

Stiviano, who acts as Sterling's personal assistant and "wingman" clarified that she is not in love with the LA Clippers owner but emphasized that she loves him as a father figure. She detailed that she started working for Sterling as a regular employee, and then eventually she was being paid "off the books."

When asked if she believes Sterling is a racist, Stiviano came to his defense, saying that her employer was raised in a different way - secluded from minorities and Black Jews.
