Donald Lawrence's Single "The Gift" Hits No.1 on Billboard Gospel Songs Chart
Grammy Award winning songwriter, singer, and Gospel producer, Donald Lawrence, is currently standing at No.1 on the Billboard Gospel songs chart. His song, "The Gift", has been No.1 on the Billboard Gospel songs chart for six-consecutive weeks and continues to fluctuate within the Top 10. Donald Lawrence has been in the Gospel music industry for over 20-years and has continued to lift peoples spirits with his joyful music. Lawrence has accomplished many things in the past 20-years including becoming a music producer, songwriter,composer, music/choir director, and lastly a honorable musician of the 1990's. His new album, "20 Year Celebration- Vol 1, Best for Last", was released in September of this year and is a complete celebration of the last 20-years he has put into the Gospel music scene.
His lead single off the album, "The Gift" has been constantly fluctuating through the Top 10 of the Billboard Gospel songs chart. "Best for Last" is a 15-track album that features new and old inspiring songs as they constantly provide faith and inspiration through songs such as: "The Blessing of Abraham", "Say A Prayer For Me" featuring Faith Evans, "Mighty God" featuring Coko, and "Ultimate Relationship" featuring Lalah Hathaway, Lawrence has been known by many as an artist that wears many colors as he carries multiple talents in the Gospel music industry and shares his love for Christ.
