'Doctor Who' Season 10 Release Date, News: Doctor Who Sports A Different Look?
While we are still counting months before the next installment of "Doctor Who," fans are already excited to see more of Bill, the new companion of the Twelfth Doctor. Â However, the new character is not the only thing that season 10 has to offer.
Rumors have it that Peter Capaldi, the actor behind Doctor Who, is now sporting a slightly different look.
On the official Instagram account of "Doctor Who," a recent post shows Capaldi signing autographs for fans. Captioned "Here's Peter hanging out with some fans on a break in filming for episode 1 of the new series!," the photo shows the actor wearing a slightly longer coat than usual, which resembles his style in the season 9 finale. Aside from the coat, his grey hoodie and white shirt ensemble is also considered a first, since Capaldi is known for not just settling for a plain white shirt.
Some speculate that his wardrobe has to do with some of the previous updates regarding the production of the series. Last month, actress Pearl Mackie had a short tour on the set of the series on her first day of filming.
"Look, it's snowing in June," said the actress.
Taking it from Mackie's statement, fans believe that season 10 will be set in winter even if they are filming during summer time. If not, then perhaps some of its scenes will be.
BBC has not yet announced the official premiere date of "Doctor Who" season 10, but a 2017 air date is highly probable.
