'Do You Believe?' Movie Provokes Spiritual Action Commitment with 40-Day Devotional and Study Guide

Do You Believe?

January 12, 2015 - In a year dubbed "Year of the Bible" for film studios, Pure Flix established their position as one of the most influential film studios in 2014 with the incredible success of God's Not Dead. The movie became the highest grossing independent faith film of the year, and the studio is posed to do it again in 2015 with the release of Do You Believe?

On March 20, 2015, Pure Flix will release one of this year's most provocative films, Do You Believe? to theaters nationwide. The film stirs audiences to experience the supernatural and symbolic power of the cross of Jesus Christ, which calls believers to boldly and unapologetically share their faith.

DO YOU BELIEVE? features an ensemble cast of Oscar® recipient Mira Sorvino, Golden Globe® award winning actress Cybill Shepherd, SAG Award® winning Sean Astin, Alexa PenaVega, Ted McGinley, Brian Bosworth, Andrea Logan White, Delroy Lindo, Madison Pettis, and Lee Majors.

"The massive success of God's Not Dead proved that audiences want to rally together with their friends and family to see movies that will edify them on compelling issues," says producer and founding partner of Pure Flix, David A.R. White. "With Do You Believe?, we wanted to create a film whose message will encourage, but at the same time convict, audiences concerning one of the most critical faith questions they will ever be asked."

In a culture where Christians are labeled as intolerant or have abandoned their faith all together, comes a film that asks a question every person must answer in his or her lifetime - "Do YOU Believe?", and if so, "What
are you going to do about it?"

Reminding believers of the price paid for their salvation and the price required to live as a true disciple.
In Do You Believe? a dozen souls are moving in different directions, all longing for something more. As their lives unexpectedly intersect, they each are about to discover there is power in the cross of Christ... even if
they don't yet believe it.

A woman and her young daughter cope with being homeless, a pastor and his wife lives with infertility, an older couple struggles to move past the death of their daughter from years ago, a soldier suffers from PTSD, and an unwed teen mom, and an arrogant physician are all searching for hope.

Audiences will experience the struggles and transformations of these lives as they encounter the redemptive power of the cross.

The God's Not Dead writing team of Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon, wrote Do You Believe?, which is produced by Michael Scott, David A.R. White, Russell Wolfe, and Elizabeth Travis.

Merchandising based on Do You Believe? will include a 40-day devotional and church study guide, a novelization based on the film, and wooden crosses.
