'Do You Believe' Film will Put People on the Edge of Their Seats with Powerful Messages & Star Studded Cast [REVIEW]
BREATHEcast attended a pre-screening of the upcoming Pure Flix Entertainment film 'Do You Believe?' which follows the success of 'God's Not Dead' and was blown away with the compelling message of the cross and its relevance in this day and age.
'Do You Believe?' arrives in theaters March 20 and is already receiving rave reviews. The film touches on many relevant topics from crime, military, religious freedom, suicide, abortion, and more. It did a great job of spanning across different cultural backgrounds and making the message of Jesus Christ appealing to both believers and non-believers.
The cinematography is incredible and the message calls faith into action. With its 'Crash' like story line the audience is taken on an action packed journey of a dozen strangers and their road to the cross of Christ.
'Do You Believe?' stars Academy Award-winner Mira Sorvino, Sean Astin, Cybill Shepherd and Lee Majors, among others, and depicts the lives of different souls-all moving in different directions, all longing for something more. As their lives unexpectedly intersect, they each are about to discover there is power in the Cross of Christ...even if they don't believe it. Yet.
"The massive success of God's Not Dead proved that audiences want to rally together with their friends and family to see movies that will edify them on compelling issues," says producer and founding partner of Pure Flix, David A.R. White. "With Do You Believe?, we wanted to create a film whose message will encourage, but at the same time convict, audiences concerning one of the most critical faith questions they will ever be asked."
In a culture where Christians are labeled as intolerant or have abandoned their faith all together, comes a film that asks a question every person must answer in his or her lifetime - "Do YOU Believe?," and if so, "What are you going to do about it?"
It reminds believers of the price paid for their salvation and the price required to live as a true disciple. Audiences will experience the struggles and transformations of the lives of the cast as they encounter the redemptive power of the cross.
The 'God's Not Dead' writing team of Chuck Konzelman and Cary Solomon, wrote 'Do You Believe?', which is produced by Michael Scott, David A.R. White, Russell Wolfe, and Elizabeth Travis.
