'Dissidia Final Fantasy' News: New 3 vs. 3 Arcade Game Announced for Japanese Game Centers [VIDEO]
An interesting twist on the 'Dissidia Final Fantasy' game has been announced at the Japan Amusement Expo, in Chiba.
'Dissidia' will be coming to Japanese arcades but this time in all-out three on three brawl style unfamiliar to the franchise. Not much has been released on the project other than a short teaser video with gameplay footage.
"Few details have been released about the arcade game so far, other than Y'Shtola from Final Fantasy XIV will be playable, according to Gematsu. No word yet on whether any characters from Final Fantasy XV will make an appearance. Square Enix is holding an event April 10, and we might learn more about Dissidia Final Fantasy then," writes IGN.
Square Enix has launched a website for the project but not much information has been released on it.
"Dissidia Final Fantasy, if you aren't familiar with it, was first released on the PSP in 2009. In 2012, it got a prequel and a remake rolled into one with Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy. The new arcade version will feature much improved graphics and three-on-three battles," writes Gamespot.
There isn't a release date on the game or confirmation if it will be appearing on any consoles.
