'Disney Enchanted Tales' App News Update: Peppered With Complaints; To Unlock More Characters After Launch?

When "Disney Enchanted Tales" was launched on Google Play and Apple Store, only three stories are available: Frozen, Beauty and the Beast and Tangled.

The bad news, however, is there's no information yet on whether there will be more characters to be unlocked other than the ones already included in the three fairy tales.

The app is a kingdom-building gameplay where users have to choose a story and unlock characters as they progress along.

However, a good number of users have complained that the "Disney Enchanted Tales" makes it very hard for people to purchase items or go another level.

Keira McKee-Judd wrote in her review that the game is cute and has a good concept, however, she could not earn enough coins for purchases. In fact, earning 25 coins a day is "kind of a small bonus." The Gems are also sparse.

Jaimie Kurtz, meanwhile, rated "Disney Enchanted Tales" two stars because "it takes forever to earn coins for the next part of the story." "The makers of the game are just trying to (sic) hard to get you to spend money," he said.

Another said in the Apple Store, "Game is enjoyable but i'm hoping it can be played even in offline mode."

A new version, 1.5.0 of "Disney Enchanted Tales" has been released and it includes five additional levels. In Tangled, additional content is also available at level 20 like Maximus, Flynn Rider, Rapunzel's Tower, The Snuggly Duckling and Mother Gothel.

You can download the "Disney Enchanted Tales" on Apple Store and Google Play for free.
