'Dishonored 2' Release Date News: Beatable In 12-20 Hours; Greater Variety And Preferences Among Characters
Along with the inclusion of LGBT-characters in "Dishonored 2," it has been revealed that players can expect to sit through game for at least ten hours.
"Dishonored 2" is set to last players for around 12 to 20 hours, Only SP reports. This is according to Arkane Studios creative director Harvey Smith, who answered some questions about the game title's gameplay at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 2016) event.
According to Smith, "Dishonored 2" is set to be longer than its predecessor, "Dishonored," in terms of gameplay time. The creative director said that the game should take around 12 to 20 hours to complete, with an average "Dishonored" player capable of beating the game in eight to 12 hours.
Fans also asked for information about mod support in "Dishonored 2," which is a highly anticipated aspect of the original game. Smith remained tight-lipped with regard to mod support, but he did also not deny that the feature would come to the game sequel.
In other news, "Dishonored 2" is set to have LGBT characters and they appear to have prominent roles as well, according to game director Harvey Smith. On June 16, Smith tweeted an answer to Twitter user Ray's (@sydnoliver) question whether or not gay and bisexual characters in the upcoming game were going to be prominent characters.
According to the game director, the characters are indeed set to have prominent roles in the game. Exact details on these roles are yet to be revealed, however.
Developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda, "Dishonored 2" is set to be released on Nov. 11, 2016.
