'Dishonored 2' Gameplay Trailer Leaked: Developer Promises Engaging Story And New Playable Character
Last week, just before E3 2016, a 30-second-long TV spot of "Dishonored 2" gameplay leaked online. The video was quickly taken down, but not before giving fans an exciting glimpse into the new game.
According to Engadget, there's going to be a new playable main character in the second installment of the game.
The game's plot was established 15 years after the first game happened. "Dishonored 2's" main character will be Emily Kaldwin. She will be on a mission to discover the chain of events that led to her exile from Dunwall. The gamers will have an opportunity to play Emily and as well as last game's main character, Corvo.
Also, according to Gamespot, the developers of the game are extremely passionate when it comes to providing details on the development, even down to the smallest detail.
Harvey Smith, Arkane's co-creative director, explained it in a recent interview.
"We want every market, and every alley, to tell a story," he said according to Gamespot.
He went on to add that there will be two in-game missions that will be featured in the game. The first one will be a mission to assassinate Carnaca's Vice Overseer. The second one will be an in-game challenge where can go back and forth in time to accomplish the specific mission.
"Dishonored 2" is an upcoming action-adventure stealth themed video game sequel which is currently under development by Arkane Studios. The game will be published by Bethesda Softworks and revolves around a former body guard and assassin named Corvo Attano and a former Dunwall Empress named Emily Kaldwin.
"Dishonored 2" will be released on November 11 for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
