Avid 'Digimon Adventure' fans are about to get treated to something that they thought would never happen. It has just been confirmed that 'Digimon Adventure', which celebrates its 15^th anniversary this May will be showing a marathon of the original Digimon Adventure series.

Yes, indeed it is exciting news especially for the fans of the animated series. As the fans wait for the announcement regarding the 'Digimon Adventure Tri' as to when it will be officially released, they can forget their worries a little bit as the series will be taking their fans back in time.

The series will go back exactly 54 episodes since it was first released. It has been reported that the Digimon Adventure series which is by Toei will kick off on May 4^th until the 6^th showing episodes 1-19 on May 4, episodes 20-38 on May 5 and episodes 39-54 on May 6.

Not only that, on May 6, which is the last day of the throwback showing of the hit animated series, the show will be announcing some new information about the series which many are speculating to be the official release date for the Digimon Adventure Tri series.

Although it is still unknown what the announcement will be, rumors are very much leaning on to believing that indeed Digimon Adventure Tri series will happen soon. However, it may not be shown this year. But of course, all the rumors and speculations can be confirmed in just a few days while the fans enjoy the special treat of the animated series showing once again the episodes that came 15 years back in time.

Meanwhile, what is known is that the people behind the upcoming new series are quite the creative ones which include Keitaro Motonaga as the director; Yuuko Kakihara writing the series composition, and Atsuya Uki creating the character designs.
