Diem Brown Dead: Losses Battle with Cancer, Actress Passes Away at the Age of 32
After a long battle with cancer, the brave reality star Diem Brown has died at the age of 32. She fought a very long battle since she was first diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 23 in 2003. Brown reportedly had a tough year after they found out that the cancer spread through her liver and lymph nodes.
Known for 'Real World' and 'Road Rules Challenge', the MTV star reportedly died at 10:22 am in New York last Friday. Brown fought a good fight according to reports as she unswervingly did everything she could to overcome her sickness. She even continuously asked for support from people on her social media accounts.
"I NEED PRAyErs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won't & can't rollover. Whatever option I have to LIVE I'm grabbing!" the tough blonde star tweeted recently. Brown also had been sharing about her cancer in a blog for People and even became an advocate for others founding 'MedGift' which is a support registry for those suffering different illnesses.
"I want people to know that the fight is worth it. And that's something that's so important for me," she told PEOPLE last October. Evidently, Brown had a life filled with legacies and fulfillment. But despite her strong effect on people, the reality star of course had some challenging moments which she also shared with the public.
"Both mentally, physically and emotionally the most traumatic. I've been needing some hope to fight for, some light to look forward to at the end of this journey. I find that strength in my family, friends and fans. People I've never met believe in me, I can't let them down! I won't," she told E! News.
Brown suffered a setback this year when they found a blockage in her kidneys which forced doctors to perform emergency kidney treatment, "I was supposed to get my 'chemo cocktail,' but after they did the blood draw they saw a spike in my kidney levels, so they were only able to give me one of the two chemos," she told E! News.
Many have said their condolences and prayers for the family and friends of Diem Brown.
