'Diablo 4' Release Date News: Title In The Works?; Game To Replace ‘Diablo 3’ Second Expansion?
New details on Blizzard Entertainment's "Diablo 4" have surfaced. Reports suggest that the game is in the works, instead of a second expansion for "Diablo 3."
Blizzard Entertainment is currently looking for new artists that will be responsible for the creation of a unannouced "Diablo" project, Christian Today has learned. As per the publication, fans believe that the aforementioned project is set to be the much-anticipated "Diablo 4."
It is further revealed that the gaming studio is in search of a senior character artist, senior VFX artist, senior concept artist, senior animator, and animator. As per the publication, they are all set to work for Blizzard's next hit game.
In addition, the job descriptions of the said positions indicated what fans can expect from the upcoming title. A case in point includes a rich diet of fire, explosions, blood, guts, and exploding bloody guts that are on fire. As per the studio, their well of creative ideas for how enemies spawn, attack, and die never ran dry and they could translate design concepts into juice and eye-catching visuals, along with stylized and hand-crafted touch.
At the moment, Blizzard Entertainment no longer allows visitors in the studio, since there is fear of information leak.
In other news, Blizzard Entertainment is rumored to be dropping the second expansion for "Diablo 3," which has led fans to assume that "Diablo 4" is the studio's upcoming game.
According to Movie News Guide, Blizzard is set to transition to the fourth "Diablo" installment, as the production team reportedly wants to halt the release of the "Diablo 3" expansion. As per the publication, a reason behind this is the declining number of people who are set to work for the project, including Don Vu and John Yang, who opted to focus on "World of Warcraft: Legion."
For the time being, "Diablo 4" is assumed to be launched in 2017.
