‘Diablo 3’ News, Patch Notes: New Patch 2.4.1 Features New Characters, Items and Pets

Characters, items, and pets - these are new features attached to the new patch for Blizzard Entertainment's hit video game "Diablo 3."

According to Softpedia, Blizzard Entertainment is set to improve "Diablo 3's" gameplay with its patch 2.4.1. As per the publication, the new patch enables gamers to have preferences for their characters, along with items that come from the enemies and the rare chests that are spread throughout the game.

Along with character preferences and items, patch 2.4.1 also allows players to have "non-combat companions" for their characters. As per the publication, such companions are not attached to special promotions or season rewards. It is revealed that a player is eligible to select or access one of the pets when his character managed to defeat a certain character. A new pet is reportedly offered every time in the course of the game.

As per Blizzard Entertainment, the new patch for "Diablo 3" also enables players to enjoy "a few extra-rare rewards" scattered across Sanctuary. As per the game developer, some of these rewards present higher rarity than others and players have to put an extra effort to obtain them in the game.

With this feature, it is assumed that expert players will experience no difficulty in obtaining these rare items. "Know that only the most dedicated nephalem are destined to rock these special cosmetic items," Blizzard Entertainment revealed.

In line with the patch 2.4.1 notes, it is clarified that changes are set to actualize prior to the community's access to the new modifications. Thus, the players who play on the beta servers are the ones who would provide feedback on the improved gaming experience, as per US Battle

"Diablo 3's" patch 2.4.1 is assumed to be released on Apr. 19, prior to the release of the sixth season.
