‘Diablo 3’ News: Patch 2.4.0 Features GreyHollow Island
"True Detective" references are progressively increasing in Blizzard's "Diablo 3."
"Diablo III" gives another reference to "True Detective's" first season in a new patch, according to Fansided. The patch preview indicates a 2.4.0 version and is called "Greyhollow Island."
According to the descriptive text, "Greyhollow Island" suggests a storm at sea, devastating a number of ships. Lightning also sparks from up above, giving light to the forest. Then, there are creatures whose eye watch from a distance, serving as a threat before the island itself.
Aside from Greyhollow Island as the tile set, The game update is set to feature a catalogue of new items, include a new collection of Set Dungeons, according to iDigital Times. Blizzard also released a brand new review trailer for Greyhollow Island, but it did not provide fans the timeline for the release of "Diablo III" patch 2.4.0.
While the patch description had no direct reference on "True Detective," it provides an entire feeling of the first season mentally. In addition, version 2.4.0 suggests another take on how "True Detective" was references, as compared to "Fallout 4," "World of Warcraft," and "Grand Theft Auto," which have heavier references.
Developed by Blizzard Entertainment, "Diablo III" can be run on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Mac OS, Windows, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. If Blizzard releases the new "Diablo 3" patch prior to the end of the year, then it is assumed that fans will not be able to wait, even if it is just few weeks left.
"True Detective" season 2 may not be overt in "Diablo III" at the moment; however, season will still be carried on by some of the most recognized video games.
