Developer Announces Release Date for ‘Resident Evil 0' HD Remaster

Game developer, Capcom, has finally announced the release date of the HD remaster version of the classic game, "Resident Evil 0." The developer also announced the price of the game.

In an official statement from the developer, it was revealed that the remastered game will be available to players on two separate release dates. Gamers in North America can expect the game on January 19, 2016. Meanwhile, the players in Europe can expect it on January 22, 2016.

Various formats will be released for specific game consoles such as PC, PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

The retail price of the game will slightly vary depending on the currency. It will be sold for $19.99 in North America, €19.99 in Europe and £15.99 in the United Kingdom.

Players may pre-order the game as early this month. Those who pre-order will receive a cheerleader outfit for Rebecca and commando garb for Billy. As additional incentive, a t-shirt will also be available which Rebecca can wear in the game.

The fans of the game series will be happy to know that they can also have the "Resident Evil: Origins Collection" on disc. This includes both the "Resident Evil HD Remaster" and "Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster."

For those who want to preview the game may watch the video trailer now available on YouTube.

Some fans of the game, however, might be slightly disappointed because the pre-order costumes will not be available on the Xbox 360 game console.

The "Resident Evil 0" HD remaster will have updated graphics. It will also have an all new "Wesker Mode" that will allow players to play as the antagonist.
