'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' Release Date News: Fans Seeing Boss Battles In The Title?
Along with being July's cover for PC Gamer magazine, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" producer Olivier Proulx talked about the likelihood of seeing boss battles in the title.
In his interview with IGN, Proulx said that boss fights were semantics at this point; however, gamers would certainly have some intense encounters with a number of pivotal characters at different moments in the game. He also mentioned that they had not been happy with the boss fight situation, as they had not wanted to have another part of the game where players were forced to kill somebody.
Proulx also teased what fans could expect from the upcoming title. In the same interview, he said that they had built a larger city hub in the game, something with more immersion, side-missions, and more layers to explore. He added that they had made the cool stealth mechanics better, as they felt a good "Deus Ex" title must provide good stealth gameplay.
According to Proulx, the game experience the game provides depends on how the players interact with the game. In the same interview, he said that the way gamers play and some of the decisions they made, such as their gameplay style or they way they talked to people, quest, and explore had an impact in the world.
For the title producer, all the challenges were more consistent with the player's playstyle.
