‘Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’ News: Title Day One Patch Crosses The Norm, According To Director Jean-Francois
Along with talks about pre-order and game ready driver, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" director revealed that the Day One patches are set to mirror the norm.
In a statement, as cited by App Trigger, "Mankind Divided" director Jean-Francois Dugas said that Day One patches were getting more and more like the norm. Comparing the title with "Elder Scrolls" and "Fallout," Dugas said that it was challenging to ship such games without having any means of patch to come with them, as there were so many opportunities that could happen.
Dugas also mentioned that one could test and test, but there were always new ways and potential to test something that nobody had tested it before. For the game director, the Day One patch was not necessarily needed for gamers to enjoy the title; however, he recommends it to have the best gaming experience possible.
