‘Deus Ex: Mankind Divided’ New Trailer News: Square Enix Game Announced After 3-Day Twitch.TV Live Stream Promo [VIDEO]

After 3-days of mentally and physically harassing a guy in a room on a livestream via Twitch.tv, Eidos Montreal-a subsidiary of Square Enix-announced the upcoming sequel to their 2011 Deus Ex game, and this time it is 'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided'.

The game is confirmed to be launched on PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms according to Game Informer. However, no release date has been relayed by the game development team just yet.

Furthermore, executive directors for Deus Ex talked with Game Informer on the futuristic rendering of the upcoming game and how it is backed up by researching our current real life advancements. "We did a lot of research about trends for architecture and scientific discoveries," Executive Game Director Jean Francois-Dugas mentioned. He then continued with partnering with a biotechnologist who has contributed to the concept of human augmentation found in the game making it realistic in a fast forward into the future sense.

"We want to anticipate the future, we don't want to create it," explains Marie DeMarie, Deus Ex's Executive Narrative Director. Deus Ex has been, more or less, a benchmark for some of the recent health innovations especially involving advanced prosthetic legs.

Little was revealed on Square Enix's 3-day Twitch.tv marketing strategy that kept curious viewers casting votes as to what would happen with the man trapped in the electric-walled room. The isolated man was then seen interrogated by men with deep Russian accents which could be the same character found on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided announcement trailer.

It is definitely a comeback for the almost-a-cyborg Adam Jensen after the golden era of augmentation. According to the synopsis found on the trailer, "Augs" have now become outcasts in a distorted society in 2029. "Crime and acts of terror serve as a thin veil to cover up an overarching conspiracy aimed at controlling the future of mankind," the description reveals.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is expected to be a first-person perspective game with heavy action and brutality.
