'Destiny' Update April, Details: Bungie Reveals New Light Level, Weapons, Missions, Enemies

Along with new weapons, quests, and enemies, "Destiny's" April update has revealed new Light level.

Bungie revealed that the maximum Light level has been increased to 335, PlayStation Lifestyle reported. As per the publication, "Destiny's" developer also unveiled that Guardians would be able to reach the said level cap through the Challenge of the Elders, which serves as a new level 41 PVE mode. The developer also clarified that players who are under Light level 260 need not apply.

The most vital portion of the new "Destiny" update would be a retooled level 41 adaptation of Prison of Elders, according to Tech Times. As per the publication, players can take on new boss battles in the survival mode, along with new variants on the Prison that is filled with players who want to achieve a high score.

"Destiny" is also set to provide something better to the gamers. Screenshots on Game Spot revealed that the game is set to feature new armor, shaders, as well as enemies when April comes. The publication added that Prison of Elders does not include checkpoints, which makes it a challenging angle of the game for gamers.

"Destiny" is also set in the battered remnants of the Reef, according to Bungie lead designer Ryan Paradis. In his interview with Game Informer (via PlayStation LifeStyle), Paradis said that their goal with the April update had been to hit a few different fronts, adding that they had a lot of fans who had fallen in love with the exploration of the Dreadnaught, Strikes, and Prison of Elders.

According to Paradis, they had wanted to revive some of the aforementioned fan favorites while providing new challenges and rewards. He added that they had also wanted to offer "awesome" new vanity items for players to express themselves better and look like the "bada**es" they truly were.

"Destiny's" spring update is set to arrive on April 12.
