‘Destiny’ 2.2 Update News: Bungie Confirms Additional Rewards; Increased Max Light Level

Bungie confirmed the news regarding the "Destiny" 2.2.0 update, which will include new challenges, gears, quest on the Blighted Chalice Strike and more rewards and an increased Max Light level.

According to Bungie, gamers may encounter some kinks in the Clan.

"About 200 Clans will encounter some minor housekeeping," the website explained. "If your Clan includes more than 100 people across two platforms (i.e. PlayStation Network and Xbox Live), you'll see your members broken out across two rosters in your existing private group. The older of the two Clans will need to be given a new unique name."

Fans going on quest for the Blighted Chalice Strike will find themselves on the Hellmount on the Moon, said Screenrant.

"Players who already own Destiny: The Taken King get the update without any extra cost. If you only have the base game though, there's a chance that you won't have access to it at all," it added.

It's obvious that the release of "The Division" has taken the attention away from Bungie's "Destiny." The developer hopes to take back the luster by dropping news about the update.

Bungie is set to offer more news about "Destiny" update 2.2.0 during three streaming events starting on Mar. 24 at 11 AM Pacific Time with the theme "New Things to Do." The next schedule is on Mar. 30 with the theme, "New Things to Earn."

On April 6, or six days prior to the unveiling of the "Destiny" update 2.2.0, fans can expect more news during the streaming event at 11 AM Pacific Time, which carries the theme, "Sandbox and Crucible Updates."
