'Destiny: Rise Of Iron' Release Date Details: Latest Leak Points To New Zone, New Raid
Microsoft unwittingly created a firestorm when it leaked details of "Destiny: Rise of Iron" ahead of the Bungie reveal last week.
While the post was immediately taken down, it's still available though this link. Of course, before you can play the game, you need to have "Destiny: The Taken King."
According to the Microsoft description, the wall at the southern border of the Old Russia broke down. That means the mutants can now reach the Golden Age and scavenge for food. But they are also spreading around a plague that threatens the whole world.
The details of the "Destiny: Rise of Iron" include: a New Story Campaign & Quests, New Weapons, New Armor and Gear, New Raid, New Strike, New Crucible Mode and Maps, New Enemy Faction and Bosses, Maximum Light Increase, and Plaguelands Zone and Social Place.
Of all the details revealed by Microsoft, fan site Planet Destiny zoomed in on the Plaguelands zone in "Destiny: Rise of Iron" as it hoped that it will follow the same thrill provided by Dreadnaught, which offers hidden quests, the opportunity to collect artifacts and unlock weapons that you can use later on.
"In a game where the goals of each Guardian are more or less the same, the freedom to explore and delve into secrets and uncharted territory helps each player feel like they are in control of their own Destiny," it said.
Meanwhile, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" expansion pack will already be available by Sept. 20 with a cost of $30, according to the report.
