'Destiny' Patch 1.0.3 Update for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 Versions- Voice Comm. & Iron Banner
As some 'Destiny' players were beginning to grow tired of the latest FPS RPG title, developer Bungie provided some relief as they've just released a new 2.44 GB update, which brings many of the features gamers were waiting for.
The new patch 1.0.3 is available on all the platforms (PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360) as of November 17.
Beyond general bug fixes and minor changes, Bungie decided to add a whole bunch of new content that should get gamers back into a game that was slowly growing stale. Taking into account that the entire 1.0.3 patch is 2.44 GB in size, there's a lot of changes to process.
Focusing on the highlights of the update, that's the first in the series of patches preparing for 'The Dark Below' expansion, some interesting changes come to light.
Firstly, one of the features that has been consistently requested by gamers is changes in regards to voice communication.
According to the official 'Destiny' patch notes released by Bungie,
- Added a new social feature that enables users to access a channel for Team Chat
- Matchmade teammates will now be able to talk to each other in Strikes and team-based Crucible matches

Beyond that, some changes were also made to the Iron Banner event:
- Players must now be level 20 and above to lead an Iron Banner Fireteam
- Players below Level 20 can only accompany players above Level 20
- Lord Saladin now has 5 reputation ranks (increased from 3)
- New Features Added: Tempered Buff, Reforging

Evidently, it still remains to be seen how successful and fulfilling this 'Destiny' patch will turn out to be. While some users are excited about the new features and fixes they get to explore, there's always the chance that additional bugs will be implemented into the game as a result of the patch.
