'Destiny Rise Of Iron' News: Producer Leaks New Installment; Bungie Fixes Problems With Weekly Reset
Along with Bungie's resolution to its mod and challenges issues in its "Destiny" weekly reset, one of its producers, Scott Taylor, talked about the title's newest installment "Rise of Iron."
In his interview with Games Beat at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 event in Los Angeles, as cited by Venture Beat, Taylor revealed the lessons that he had learned from "Destiny's" last expansion "Taken King."
Taylor said that "Rise of Iron" fitted at the middle of "Taken King" and "House of Wolves." The producer also mentioned that they had a neat chance with "Destiny," since they had shipped in September 2014 and instead of just leaving it as a boxed product, the whole experience had been iterated on ever since they had released.
According to Taylor, they had been evolving the way of their storytelling, following "Taken King," in which they had introduced things like the quest system and some thrilling cinematics. For the game producer, "Destiny" was a different game that it had been when they had first released.
In other news, Bungie has addressed the modifiers and challenges issue for its "Destiny" reset this week. On June 28, the studio wrote on Twitter that players who had experienced a brief issue with the modifiers and challenges during the weekly reset should be resolved after returning to orbit.
As per VG247, Bungie conducts a server reset weekly to refresh the players' activities, such as raid challenge and the Nightfall strike. The recent reset aims to fix the appearance of Golgoroth and the Warpriest in the raid challenge, in addition to the two Nightfalls.
Meanwhile, "Destiny: Rise of Iron" is set to be released on Sept. 20.
