‘Destiny’ New DLC Leak Rumors: Photo Allegedly Reveals Plans for Expansion Packs
Bungie and Activision's first person shooting game 'Destiny' allegedly faced a leak when a photo of an internal meeting showed what could be a glimpse into possible expansion packs.
The leaked photo started circulating online and was supposedly taken during a meeting at Bungie about the game's future expansion packs.
The photo is blurry, but fans and gamers were able to make out new information, such as the previously announced "House of Wolves" DLC being tagged for a March 10 launch date, and three brand new DLC packs, "Comet: Plague of Darkness," "Forge of Gods," and "The Vex."
A closer look at the photo also showed that the "Comet" DLC was set for some time in September and will come with new PvP maps, weapon types, missions, locations and subclasses. Some noted the box art for the PlayStation 4 that was shown in the photo and took it to mean that it was possible that the contents of the DLC are large enough to come out on their own discs.
Bungie has yet to make a comment on the photo so fans are still cautioned on believing the supposed leak.
New content aside, Bungie did answer a few queries, this time on the upcoming patch for its "The Dark Below" expansion, which will come out on Jan. 13. However, the Patch will end up removing some of the tricks that gamers already found on the expansion pack, specifically the trick to circumvent parts of the Crota's End raid mission.
The video game company stated that a Hard Mode for Crota's End will be developed in time for the update, where players will need to learn new tricks in order to earn the new trophies in the game. The Patch will also fix up errors with the Vault of Glass raid and will also return the Iron Banner multiplayer event, which will run for a whole week.
