'Destiny 2' Release Date News, Rumors: New DLC Might Be The Cause Of Sequel's Delay?
Bungie, the developer of "Destiny" has recently announced that the game will be releasing its latest DLC entitled "Rise of Iron." This is something that the fans of the game should not miss out on.
According to reports, the developers of the game are also working on a sequel of the game. It was initially planned to be released this 2016 but for some unfortunate reason, the release of the game will be pushed back up until next year. The developers might had a couple of set backs on their time table while working on the most recent DLC, the "Rise of Iron."
In addition, according to Ecumenical News, the main cause of the delay might have been because the game is rebooted. It was initially thought of that it was mainly because the organizational chart have changed within Bungie. "Destiny 2's" development will now be led by Luke Smith. Smith had tons of experience working on "The Taken King" expansion set.
Avid fans are hoping to get updates from the developers come the first quarter of 2017. But they don't have to worry about anything since the sequel will definitely happen. For now, they just have to satisfy the drought through the newest DLC, the "Rise of Iron."
Destiny is a first-person shooter video game which is available online, developed by Bungie and published by Activision. It was initially released on September 9, 2014 for the latest gaming consoles such as the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
