'Degrassi: Next Class' Season 2 Release Date, Spoilers, Cast: Upcoming Season Arriving In July On Netflix?
Following a well-received season, "Degrassi: Next Class" season 2 is set to premiere on Netflix this coming July with its second batch of episodes.
The second season of the renowned series was filmed simultaneously with season 1. Made up of 20 episodes, the series was broken up into two seasons of 10 episodes each, so fans are assured that the second season will have the same level of quality as the first.
Spreading all 20 episodes across two seasons is an advantage for fans, as they do not have to wait too long between the first and second installations.
"Degrassi: Next Class" will pick up where the previous season left off. A report from Fan Sided says that the upcoming season will follow the lives of the younger students from seasons 11 to 14.
It can be remembered that in the seasons earlier than that, it was only Principal Archie "Snake" Simpson's character that was left. His character, played by actor Stefan Brogen, was also part of the original "Degrassi" series in the 1980's.
The first season of "Degrassi: Next Class" ended with a dramatic scene between Miles Hollingsworth and Hunter, his brother.
Meanwhile, it remains unclear when the Canadian teen soap opera will air in Canada. In Family Channel, the series airs in a soap opera style format, where an episode is shown each day for a period of two weeks.
On July 22, the American audiences and other fans of the series from most parts of the world will finally enjoy the entire 10-episode season of "Degrassi: Next Class" on Netflix.
