'Deadpool' Spoilers, News: Actor Ryan Reynolds Says Film will Appeal to Critical Fans
Actor Ryan Reynolds has recently been very vocal with his excitement about the greenlit 'Deadpool' project that he's finally able to move forward with.
Though we still don't know what the film will entail, he's previously assured us that the project will keep the integrity of the comics, although the movie's recently announced PG-13 rating would have fans thinking differently.
Reynolds recently completed an interview with Shortlist and in this promised that the film will definitely appease the hardcore fanboys. He states:
"I'm incredibly happy about it - we've got a director that understands that world, and writers with a slavish devotion to the canon of that character. That's the most important aspect: it's made in a way the most critical of fanboys could embrace. Well, that's the hope."
Tim Miller will be directing the movie and Reynolds seems to have a lot of faith in his competency. His re-working of the script is what actually got FOX to approve the film.
'Deadpool' arrives in theaters on February 12th, 2016.
