'Deadpool' Plot Leak: Running Time Shorter Than Most Superhero Movies

The length of the Marvel movie "Deadpool" movie which is about to be released in cinemas in February might be shorter compared to most other comic book movies that were previously released.

According to Fox Spain's official website, the movie is just 106 minutes long. That would just be an hour and 46 minutes. Most superhero movies these days exceed the two-hour mark. According to Attack of the Fanboy, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will actually be two hours and 21 minutes long. "Deadpool" is the first comic book movie to be released in 2016. The movie is starred by Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano and Ryan Reynolds.

The film is directed by Tim Miller, written by Rob Liefeld, Fabian Nicieza, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick; produced by Simon Kinberg, Lauren Shuler Donner and playing Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds.

It was first developed under New Line Cinema but eventually went south in 2005; giving 20th Century Fox a chance to snag the opportunity and develop it.

The story is about Wade Wilson and his struggle with cancer. He opts to go through an experiment that will give him super fast healing characteristics while disfiguring his skin and making his mind unstable.

Despite his brutal ways, what makes this character unique is his ability to break the "4th wall." His action-packed combat skills combined with a twisted sense of humor is what makes this comic book character special.

"Deadpool" is currently in post-production; almost coming to fruition as it hits cinemas February 10, 2016.
