'Deadpool' Movie News: Trailer to Appear on 'Conan' Talk Show
With the insurgence of leaked trailers following San Diego's Comic-Con, a poor quality version of the 'Deadpool' trailer made it through, however Fox has opted to not release the official one just yet.
Ryan Reynolds quickly took to Twitter there after to announce that the official trailer would be dropping in about three weeks. The studio claimed to have a few things to clean up before the finished product was ready.
Well the time and place has now been confirmed, as the 'Deadpool' trailer will be making its way to 'Conan' on TBS on Tuesday, August 4.
"TBS has listed Reynolds as a guest on "Conan" for that day and says, "Ryan Reynolds debuts the new redband trailer for 'Deadpool.' We're filling up his dressing room with chimichangas in anticipation." We expect the Red Band trailer to come online shortly after the television debut," writes Superhero Hype.
The official theatrical trailer will be attached to the 'Fantastic Four' premiere on August 7, which has been said to be 17 seconds shorter than the red band trailer.
Here's the synopsis:
"Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life."
