'Deadpool' New Movie News: Ryan Reynolds Confirms R-Rating For Film [VIDEO]

Fans anticipating the Fox's 'Deadpool' film can now celebrate as the film's confirmed R-rating, was brought to them by this hilarious parody video Ryan Reynolds orchestrated.

Reynolds may be the only actor to carry out an April Fool's joke for a number of weeks, as fans were informed that the film had inevitably received a PG-13 rating. He even egged the joke on with tweeting about how fans shouldn't "worry about the PG-13 rating," confirming it will still be a great film.

With help from Extra's Mario Lopez, Reynolds made a fake interview where he spoke about the movie and the rating. What finally gave it away was the appearance of Deadpool behind Lopez, striking him with a huge lightbox. The character then says, "April Fools, 'Deadpool' will of course be rated R."

Here's the movie's official synopsis:

"Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life."
