'Deadpool' Movie Cast News: Movie Production Starts Up in Vancouver, New Actress Joins Cast

Production of the 'Deadpool' movie has finally started in Vancouver, Canada, and for those that may not know, the movie is being directed by Tim Miller, while Ryan Reynolds plays the titular role.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that an unfamiliar actress Brianna Hildebrand has joined the film and she will be portraying the character of the mutant Ellie Phimister alias Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

It is worth noting that comic book writer Grant Morrison created the character of Negasonic Teenage Warhead, which was named after a song by Monster Magnet. Negasonic Teenage Warhead is a student of the mutant Emma Frost and possesses potent psychic as well as precognitive capabilities. In the end, the mutant is killed off in the comics while the mutant extermination is undertaken on Genosha Island.

Even after this, Negasonic Teenage Warhead is shown several times, only as an illusion or a brief revivification, but is killed off again. In fact, she is among the few mutants in the 'X-Men' universe that did not appear in the 'What-If?' and 'Otherworld' storylines like the 'Ultimate' comic books.

As of now it has not been confirmed whether or not Hildebrand will be wear a make up to look precisely like the pale-skinned psychic. However, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that Hildebrand is currently undergoing strict physical training, suggesting that her character would have a lot to do around Ryan Reynold's Deadpool.

In fact, 'Deadpool' will be the first movie for Hildebrand where she has a major role. Earlier, she featured in the 'Annie Undocumented' Web series that earned the Best Web Series at the 2014 New York TV Festival.

In addition to Reynolds and Hildebrand, comedian T.J. Miller will also be seen in the movie in the role of Weasel. Gina Carano will be portraying Angel Dust, while Morena Baccarin will do the role of the Copycat.

'Deadpool' is the story an assassin named Wade Wilson. The assassin suffers from cancer and tries to save his life using an experimental procedure, but is twisted and mutated into a scarred super-powerful being having super-healing and super-human reflexes.

"Deadpool' will hit theaters on Feb. 12, 2016.
