'Deadpool 2' Movie News, Release Date Rumors: Sequel Is Put On The Table Soon
Given the sweeping success "Deadpool," still showing in movie theatres, fans are starting to draw up speculations about what to expect in its forthcoming sequel.
According to Parent Herald, the creators of "Deadpool" confirmed just recently that it will be only a matter of time before "Deadpool 2" is put on the table.
This piece of good news proved more than enough to gratify followers of the hit movie, who are now wondering how the sequel can surpass the success made by the widely-acclaimed "Deadpool" at the box office.
Confirming the news, an article from Forbes stated that, following the success of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," that "Deadpool" also went and did something remarkable.
The publication reported that as of Sunday, "Deadpool" had earned $745.7 million worldwide, meaning it has eclipsed the $742 million worldwide gross of "The Matrix Reloaded" to become the biggest-grossing R-rated movie of all time.
With the announcement of a sequel to the "Deadpool" movie, fans are left to wonder if "Deadpool 2" is going to have a remarkable resemblance to its previous storyline or if it would offer a new, unexplored angle that would get moviegoers even more hooked.
In the after-credits of "Deadpool," actor Ryan Reynolds revealed that the next installment of the movie will feature Cable, the son of X-Men's Cyclops Scott Summers. He is a powerful mutant who is capable of telekinesis, telepathy and astral projection.
