'Dead Rising 4' Release Date, News: Title Gets Winter 2016 Release, More Zombies?
Along with details on the game play and weapons, it is revealed that Microsoft is set to release "Dead Rising 4" in the winter of 2016.
"Dead Rising 4" is set to come out on Dec. 6, Express UK has learned. As per he publication, the title's marketing page had briefly advertised the game for the said date; however, it had been changed to "Coming Soon." The publication added that the upcoming game could also be released in the United Kingdom on December 9.
While the title's release date has been leaked unintentionally, the said time line is at par with the holiday 2016 release, according to IGN. As per the publication, it was announced through a Christmas-themed clip during Mircosoft's press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 2016 on June 13.
Along with "Dead Rising 4," Microsoft also unveiled the Xbox One and Xbox Scorpio at the E3 2016. Set to be released in the holiday season in 2017, the Xbox Scorpio is currently viewed as the strongest console to date. It has six GPU terflops and it is set to provide 4K gaming and support for high intensity virtual reality technology.
In other news, new details on the "Dead Rising 4" game play have been revealed. According to Games Radar, fans are set to meet and battle more zombies in the game. In his interview with Games Master, as cited by the publication, "Dead Rising" executive producer Bryce Cochrane said that one of the things they had done for the game was to redo their animation system to let them put more zombies in the game.
Along with new camera modes, the title is also set to feature crafted vehicles, weapons like a tricycle-lawnmower-flamethrower, and Frank selfies, as per Polygon.
