'Dead or Alive 5: Last Round' PC Steam Release Date News: Game Launch Delayed to March 30
"Dead or Alive 5' PC launch has been pushed from Feb. 17 to March 30, as announced by the publisher, Koei Tecmo. Reportedly, the online modes still won't be ready for launch due to unavoidable circumstances.
"In appreciation for your patience, we'll be offering the Halloween 2013 Set complete with 28 costumes, free of charge to all users who purchase Dead or Alive 5 Last Round on Steam," Tecmo said, according to GameSpot. Looks like the publishers are trying to compensate for the delay in the release by giving giving Halloween costume sets.
Reportedly, the game has been pushed back, in order to provide players with the best experience possible.
This news was reported by a tweet by All Games Beta, saying, "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round PC delayed to March 30. Online modes coming within 3 months."
The ninja fighting game, which has is now ready for the release of its fifth edition, is developed by Sega Am3 and Team Ninja.
In other news, the publishers have recently, asked the modders to be careful with the content on the game. Looks like the publishers do not want to be caught in an expensive law suit that involves explicit content.
Yohei Shimbori, the director of the game, speaking about modding issues said, "We have to deal with mod issues from an IP holder perspective. We would like to ask PC users to play our game in good moral and manner. Otherwise, we won't be able to release a title for PC again," according to MCV.
However, the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions are still set for release on February 17 for $39.99 on current-gen and $29.99 on last-gen. And the "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round' is still expected to be released on consoles February 17 in North America and February 20 in Europe and Australia
